Hello and Happy Thursday!!
Well, this is a blog post that is LONGGG over due… by about two years! Haha!
Two years ago, Justin and I went to Ireland to visit friends and to take a little vacation. :)
While in Ireland, Justin proposed and a short 5 months later, we got married. So I guess the last thing on my mind after getting back from Ireland was blog posting about it… I was more in the mindset of planning MY wedding! Gah! I still can’t get over how fast that whole year went by!
Anyway, I finally got around to going through these photos and posting them! We were in Ireland for a beautiful 10 days and PHEW did I take a lot of photos! But don’t worry, I’m not posting all 5,324 of them. Just a few of my favorites. Otherwise you’d be scrolling for the rest of your lifetime to reach the end! Haha!
If you’re thinking of going to Ireland, I highly suggest it. It’s such a beautiful place with amazing people and an incredible culture! There are so many things to do if you’re willing to explore. Justin and I had the privilege of knowing a few locals so they showed us all of the really cool things most tourists don’t know about. We spent our days living with Peter and his adorable family while in Ireland soaking in the true Ireland life. I can honestly say, Ireland is my favorite place I’ve ever visited and I hope to go back in the future! :)
Our first picture in Ireland! Meet Sam & Peter. :) You’ll be seeing them a lot in these photos…
The first castle we saw in Ireland. This is a normal public park in Ireland… castles everywhere!
And how COOL is this tree!!?
Peter just really loves blue bells…
If you look closely to the photo on the left, you’ll see a tiny rope bridge leading to that awesome “island”
The line to cross the rope bridge!
Justin is terrified of heights so this was a little scary for him to say the least… haha!
On the other side of the bridge
You could actually see Scotland for where we were sitting!!
Seriously though, there are castles EVERYWHERE.
The day we got engaged!
This is the Cliffs of Moher. Famously known for being in Harry Potter & The Princess Bride movies.
I was sooooo clueless until I turned around!
I especially enjoy this danger sign in the background… haha!
Pumped about my new ring ;)
Just another normal castle park in Ireland. Man, why don’t our town public parks have castles in them!?
Climbing abandon castles in Ireland is totally normal.
I told Justin to make a new face for every photo I took. this was the outcome… haha!
We spotted this castle and HAD to go explore it!
Climbing up that wall was SO much harder then it looks! I swear I didn’t think I was going to make it.
And there you have it! :) A little insight on our trip to Ireland!
If you’re looking to get married in Ireland, you let me know because I would LOVE to go back! ;)
