Hello and Happy Wednesday!
Well, this is going to be a fun blog post and I am very excited to share this with all of you! :D
Justin and I have been living in our sweet little apartment for a year and a half now. We loved everything about our apartment…. expect the dreaded bathroom. I’m not sure who’s idea it was so paint the walls pink (yes, PINK) and to put in a green sink… but we were stuck with it. Justin and I knew right when we moved in, that we would be remodeling the bathroom. So this winter, we finally got around to doing it! :) We painted over the awful, pink paint with a cozy grey that made the room much more inviting. Justin custom built a brand new vanity with soft close doors/drawers, and replaced our deteriorating counter top, sink, and faucet with a beautiful top and faucet from IKEA. The final touches were a medicine cabinet, mirror surround, decorative chalk board, and barn board rack – all which were handmade by Justin.
If we’re being honest, Justin did most of the work you see. haha! I painted the walls and chalkboard, helped with carrying things, and kept him company. But Justin was the brains behind all of this and was the one who spent hours in the shop hand making our vanity, medicine cabinet, mirror surround, decorative chalk board, and barn board rack. He really outdone himself this time. :)
(If you didn’t already know, Justin works for Integrity Custom Woodworking and they are a company that specializes in custom hand-crafted cabinets.)
Well, enjoy looking at our bathroom overhaul and feel free to ask questions on how we did things! :) Everything is one of a kind and hand-crafted by Justin! :)
